This is a full day tour that takes place in the North of Lazio and the Southern tip of Umbria. Following a relaxing train journey to Alviano, we will set off by bike through the beautiful Tiber Valley in the Nature Reserve of Alviano and then go all the way up (it's a rather long uphill slope, but the few stretches where it's tough are not too long..... and it's definitely worth it) to delightful Civita di Bagnoregio.full-day
This is what's known as "the dying town". It is one of the most beautiful medieval villages in Italy and it sits atop a plateau of rock that is connected to the rest of the world by just a narrow bridge which can be crossed on foot or by bike. And lastly we will visit Orvieto, a city that is famous not just for its impressive cathedral but in general for its all-Italian beauty and mysterious charm... an amalgam of natural, artistic and historical beauty and breathtaking landscapes.

The difficulty level of this tour is intermediate. The surface is mostly asphalt.
Child policy: The participation of Infants (aged 1-4) traveling on a child seat (max 55 lbs / 25 kg) and Children (aged 5-8) joining the tour on a child extension is not recommended. Children aged 9 and above who are proficient cyclists can ride their own E-Bike.
The meal providers on this tour can accommodate vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free requests. In case of any special diets, please let us know via the Special Requirements field at checkout.
In the months outside the summer, please remember to bring a wind jacket. In the winter months, gloves are essential.
